"Photo Collage"

We, the pupils of 1MFA, were given the great honor to clone us self into a picture, or make a collage of photografies. My collage contained 5 persons, and 1 background. The background is like the main photo. I shot 6 pictures. The first picture is the background, containing only the background. (And with that I mean no people took place in the picture.) When the first picture were taken, I`d try to not shake, throw or move the camera, because I should take 5 more pictures with the same motive. I was pretending to be another person in each picture, to create a scene in the picture. The Picture shows below, and it is named "Den katastrofale ulykken!" (In Norwegian. It is named "The catastrophal accident" in English)

As you can see, I am actually five different persons at the same time. I am so fast, that i managed to change clothes 5 times before I pressed the button on the camera that shoot photos.                Just kidding :P
The background is the beautiful car, and the houses in the back. The rest of the picture is filled with me. If anyone wonder how this magic picture were created, you can try to read the following text below...

I used Adobe Photoshop CS5 to create the picture. The task said we should only use the Move Tool and the Lasso Tool + the Copy and Paste Tool. It is not hard, actually, but if you want it to look real, then it`s  another story...

I activated the Lasso Tool and drew lines around the object I wanted to Copy. Then I Copied the object into the Background picture ( The picture with the car and houses on) , and dragged it where I wanted it, as you can see on the picture to the left of this sentence <--. You can probably see the marked lines ( black and white ) , they show you the marked object. Your job here, is to make the object fit in the original picture, and that is much easier spelled than done.

It might be confusing when you are working with many Layers at once. You can actually just click them away, and they will be invisible. You can click them back to visibility by clicking the button next to the layer that looks like an eye. When the Layer is invisible, you can`t see the eye.

If you want to get completely rid of the Layers, and if you can`t be near them without getting the feeling to throwing up on the screen, then I can help you. In the lower right corner of the LAYERS bar is a little dustbin/trashcan or whatever. Click in the upper layer + hold down SHIFT and click on the lower Layer. then all layers will be marked BLUE. Drag the Layers into this precious dustbin/trashcan and release. Then you wont see them anymore :D

This information might seem unimportant to everyone that knew this already, but, I`m spelling it anyway.

Have a nice Day!

Hello there!

This is my first blog post, and it`s actually my first blog too. In this blog, I`m going to show my schoolwork, and how I did it. As an example of what we do in our school, I`ll show you the Pictogram project we finished a week ago. Here is 5 of the Pictograms I made:

We were going to make 5 different pictograms from 1 single theme. I chose sparetime-activities. After we had chosen a theme, and made 5 different pictograms, we should make the chosen pictogram in Adobe Illusrtator. And after that were done, we had to make 5 different designs from the chosen pictogram, as shown above...

This is the pictogram that i chose as my favorite:

I only used the Pen Tool, Line Segment Tool and the Rectangle Tool to make this pictogram.

Have a nice Day!
